Terms and Conditions |
|
- You are a GLS 2009 Inc. employee, and will be sent to other companies
to do work. Available to you are both temporary and full-time positions.
I acknowledge that my relationship with GLS 2009 Inc. is entered
into as an elect to work arrangement and that I have the right to decline work without
penalty. I also acknowledge that I am exempt from public holiday pay and termination
pay.
- Your working hours will be recorded on a GLS 2009 Inc. time sheet
at the work place. This time sheet is YOUR responsibility and must be completed
and brought to this office at the end of each week. IF you cannot do so, please
contact our office no later than Monday morning. This will prevent waiting
an extra week for your pay.
- Pay cheques are issued from this office and are available each week on Friday.
Our office hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Should the company that you are working at wish to hire you on directly, they can
do so only after you have worked there for a contacted period of 6 weeks unless
otherwise stated.
- If you have not been given an assignment upon leaving our office, CALL US.
By calling us early each day, you gain the best change of starting right away.
- If you feel that the job you have been asked to perform is
not safe, you should report this matter immediately to your on-site supervisor
and then phone GLS 2009 Inc. to explain.
- Our customer is responsible for your on-site job training, if you feel as though
you have not bee trained appropriately, report this to your on-site supervisor immediately
and then phone GLS 2009 Inc. to explain.
- No alcohol or drugs will be tolerated before or while you are on the job.
- In case of accident, you MUST call our office as soon as possible. Follow
this up by coming into our office within 24 hours to fill out an accident report.
- I certify that I have read and understand GLS 2009 Inc. health and
safety policy.
- I certify that I have viewed the GLS 2009 Inc. WHMIS Training Video
and have a general knowledge of WHMIS and it’s importance in the workplace.
